The question is: will non-exam education be better for students? Why make choices? What does a choice make? Many believe that this is a way for students to improve their skills or to make progress for the successful future of the students. For a student, exams are an inevitable part of his school time. Having an education system, exams can be used as a means of research evaluation.

Nowadays, however, more and more people have come to the conclusion that exams are not the only means of study assessment, believing that they are good for students who have no choice. Most students can not master the technology, what did they get? The first thing students need to do is understand the objectives of the course, improve skills or pass the exam. We do not have to be educators to answer this question, the reason most people read is to improve skills. Considering this idea, there are many disadvantages and disadvantages for the student in the exam.

First, formal exams cannot accurately reflect a student’s ability; This can be unreasonable in many ways. For example, a student’s entire life depends on what he or she does on a particular day and hour of the exam. If the student is unwell, or has had some emotional trauma, these factors can have a negative effect on the student’s exam results. Some students do not perform well under pressure and need more time to achieve effective results.

Final marks should be determined by all items including assessment work, attendance, presentation, team work and exams. All of these will reflect the ability of students, not just after the exam. If someone does not make a good correction or makes a mistake in the exam, he or she may certainly fail the exam, but he / she will still make more effort in his / her study, so now the other item will be used. Consider students’ scores.

In different countries, there are different education systems, but they ensure that the same final process is an option. So the argument of whether students ’efforts and abilities can be identified comes from the final exam. Although formal exams have been used in the past, they should no longer be used as the only means of assessment because they may be an unreasonable indicator of students’ overall ability, exams are important but it is better to test in other ways. Students can easily test the abilities of the students.

What do we expect from the exam rating?
Good assessment programs are aimed at providing a consistent, fair evaluation of each student. It can be achieved in two ways. First, it offers students many opportunities in different contexts to demonstrate what they know and can do, using a variety of strategies and tasks. It also helps teachers to be confident about the accuracy of their judgments about each student.

Second, the tasks must be appropriate for the purpose. A subject has multiple goals (knowledge to learn, skills to acquire), and each task must be relevant to the specific goal or objectives it evaluates. This means that the task of evaluating basic knowledge will be different for someone who evaluates creativity. Instead of eliminating exams, we should ask which assessment task is most appropriate for each subject.

The choices focus on width
In most fields, there are specific areas of knowledge that students are expected to learn. Physics students can learn about thermodynamics, while history students can learn about the Cold War. Therefore, the exams help us to accurately test the level of understanding of the students in these topics.

Exam critics often promote in-depth, prolific and genuine assessment tasks. These are usually project-based tasks that attract students’ creativity and interest. For example, history students may be asked to select and explore the historical character. Business studies may be asked to shape the pitch for new business looking for venture capital.

These tasks develop many important high-quality thinking skills such as analysis and decision making. However, they are not an alternative to exams. They do different things. This is what we want: many different tasks to increase students’ chances of proving what they know and can do.

Finally, the breadth of knowledge is important, and we like evaluation tasks aimed at this breath. We want our prospective physicians to know the whole human body. We want our prospective teachers to know the complete set of teaching and learning approaches.
