Not Shahrukh at Mumbai airport, his bodyguard stopped by custom
Mumbai (ANI). According to Mumbai Customs official, when King Khan returned to Mumbai from Dubai on Friday night with his team, Shah Rukh Khan and his manager Pooja Dadlani left the airport after coming from Dubai. Then the officials of the Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Customs Department stopped Shah Rukh Khan’s bodyguard Ravi Singh for violating customs rules. After which Shahrukh’s bodyguard filled the custom duty and he was released.
Duty charge of 6.83 lakhs
Bodyguard Ravi was coming home with luggage, when he was stopped for checking at gate number 8. During checking, two luxurious watches and four empty watch boxes were found with the bodyguard. In which there was also an empty box of iWatch Series 8. The AIU imposed duty charge on all the boxes and custom officials asked them to pay only duty, to which they agreed and deposited the entire duty charge. He had to pay Rs 6.83 lakh for customs duty. All of them were allowed to leave only after paying the duty charge.
Shahrukh was not questioned
Earlier it was reported that Shahrukh Khan was stopped at the Mumbai airport, after which the customs questioned him. But on this the custom official said that Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has not been detained at all nor has he been asked any questions of any kind. He was only asked to pay the duty charge, which he and his team agreed to immediately.
