The threatening letter was received by Salim’s security team outside his Mumbai home near Bandra Bandstand, from where he goes for regular morning walks. After receiving the threatening letter, Salman Khan had applied for the Mumbai Police and asked for a license for arms for his safety. According to the information received from the Maharashtra Home Department, the Bishnoi gang had to create an atmosphere to show their power behind threatening Salman Khan and his father.
